Guillermo Forchino

Since the beginning of the eighties, Guillermo Forchino has been experimenting with various materials to realise art works in large sizes. His search starts at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Rosario, Argentina and is followed by three years of study in art conservation and restauration at the Université de Paris-Sorbonne, France.

At the end of the 1980s, Forchino chooses polyurethane resin to create figures and tableaus that show a strong resemblance to the cartoon world. Eccentric and funny, and taken in hand with humour and subtlety, the figures seem to come to life.

Guillermo Forchino lives and works in Paris in his workshop near the graveyard Père Lachaise.
The Comic Art by Guillermo Forchino is now available to a larger group of art lovers in limited and numbered editions.
