Proud Mary Paleis Het Loo in Delft blue. Paleis Het Loo in Apeldoorn was built for stadtholder Willem III and Mary II.
Proud Mary is a design by Dutch designers Koens & Middelkoop for Royal Delft. She is named after Mary II, the wife of stadtholder Willem III and a great admirer and collector of Delft blue in the Golden Age. The figurine consists of four interchangeable parts: the skirt, the bodice, the collar and the head. This version is 17 cm high.
