A single small figure, determined in motion, walks across a robust ‘mountain’ of petrified wood. “The Wanderer” is a miniature artwork by Herma Kraan in which adventure, peace and symbolism come together. With only 2 cm in height and 5 cm in length, this figurine tells the story of being on the road — perhaps literally, perhaps figuratively.
