Jellie van Kranen

Jellie has been creating art for years; it’s a recurring theme throughout her life. She would have loved to attend art school, but that never happened. Instead, she took various courses and has always been involved with the creative process. She even taught courses to inmates during her time working for the justice department. In 2000, Jellie went traveling and, during her journey through Australia, encountered the Raku technique and working with clay. This inspired her so much that she continued to develop it upon her return home. Since then, Jellie has had her studio, shop, and gallery at home. In 2019, she moved to Minderbroedersstraat 13 in Roermond, where she has been able to turn her passion into a livelihood for several years now.
